The Lister Block, Canada’s first indoor mall. It’s very much symbol for downtown Hamilton itself. It was neglected and sat vacant during the 1990s and 2000s and at one point was going to be demolished and replaced. Fortunately it was restored in 2011. It sits in an increasingly gentrified neighbourhood.
