My dad's family's old country. They lived in Hamburg before leaving for the US.
My grandfather did a painting of the scene from the promenade along the building on the right (under where those arches are) looking across the channel toward City Hall. There was a small restaurant there. From what I've been able to see of modern photos, it doesn't look like it's changed at all in 60+ years.
