Quote:
‧MRT network of Taoyuan metropolitan area is composed of blue, red, green, orange, and brown lines. Please refer to the attached sketch map of the MRT network. The suggestion routes are explained as the following:

‧Blue Line: The determined route starts from (north) Taoyuan International Airport, through Taoyuan High Speed Rail station to A21 station (the intersection of Jungfeng Road and Huanbei Road). The project enters the detail designing and the construction stage. In the future, this line is supposed to connect with Jungli Train Station and then to the south to serve Lunggang and Bade urban planning areas. To the north, this line directly connects with International Airport Access MRT Line to the specifics zones of Taipei Station and also connects with Taipei MRT system network. To the South, the line can connect with Green Line and Sanying line of Taipei MRT in Bade as well as for transferring purpose The line can also offer the transportation service of the main corridor to the upcoming Air City in the west of Taoyuan metropolitan area, the specific zone of Taoyuan High Speed Rail Station, Jungli, Lunggang, and Bade.

‧Red Line: It starts from Fengming Station in the east, through Taoyuan Station to Jungli Station in the west. The service is given through the elevated railway of MRT. In this line, there are Guoji Road Station, Yungfeng Road Station, Neili Station, and Jungyuan University, and etc. There is a plan to build a 50-60m Yuanlin avenue to re-organize the urban plan and land utilization, to connect the main corridor of Taoyuan and Jungli (the two cords of the developing zones), and thus to construct a primary city space. This offers the city opportunity to re-development. The line can connect with the blue and green lines to offer the transferring function of the convenient MRT network. In the future, this line is going to extend to the west to Yangmei.

‧Green Line: The line plans to start in the north from the specific zone of Air City (connecting with the specific zone of Taoyuan High Speed Rail Station), along Jungjeng Road, through Taoyuan Station and Jieshou Road to Danan, Mayuan, and Bade city planning areas. It connects with MRT blue line and Taipei MRT Sanying line. It preserves the flexibility to stretch toward the south to serve Dashi city planning area and provides the transportation service to the main corridor which is Luju, Nankan, Taoyuan, and Bade in the Taoyuan metropolitan at the same time.

‧Orange Line: The line plans to starts in the east from the intersection of Dashing Road of MRT brown line, along Dashin West Road corridor, through Junglu city planning area, Jungfu city planning area, Jungli industry zone to connect with A21 station of blue line (the intersection of Jungfeng Road and Huanbei Road). Then it continues to go west, through Huanshi and Huannan Road corridor to Jungfeng Road and preserves the flexibility to stretch toward south to serve Lungtan area. This line provides the transportation service to the main corridor which are among Taoyuan, Junglu, Jungfu, Neili, Jungli, Pingjen and Lungtan in Taoyuan metropolitan. And at the same time, it plans to connect with MRT brown line, green line, and blue line to construct a complete network.

‧Brown Line: This line plans to starts from A10 station (Shanjiau station) of Taoyuan International Airport Access MET Line, along Nanshan Road and the passage of Taulin railway branch to connect with Taoyuan station. It has the function of connecting Airport Access MRT with Taiwan Railway and Provides the transportation service of the secondary transportation corridor among Luju, Nankan, and Taoyuan. At the same time, it obtains the function of access transportation by the connection of Airport Access MRT and Taiwan Railway system. Besides, this plan also plans to go east and starts from Taoyuan station, along Wanshou Road passage to Hueilung station of Taipei MRT Shinjuang line. Taoyuan MRT and Taipei MRT network can be connected by BRT and new LRT service. At the same time, the mass transportation between Taoyuan and Taipei metropolitan can be served to people along Gueishan area.

‧ And in order to provide convenient public transport services to Guanyin,Xinwu, and other areas, we suggest that interchanging from the bus rapid transit system (BRT) to the orange line.
