Former hotel in D.C.’s Glover Park to re-emerge as millennial-friendly apartments

"The former Holiday Inn at 2101 Wisconsin Ave. NW in the District’s Glover Park, which perches on a hill overlooking Georgetown, is undergoing a transformation into a 226-unit apartment building with street-level and some two-level townhouse-style rental units known as Glover House.

More than half of the residences will be larger units with two, three or four bedrooms, each with its own bathroom.

Part of the hotel tower, which consisted of small rooms, is being adaptively reused, which made it easier to convert the spaces either into studio apartments or to larger units with side-by-side bedrooms, says Anthony Greenberg, a principal with the JBG Companies..."
