What a glorious, memory-awaking tour! Love, love the murals, the painted steps, and how I love hilly cities. The Latino's are so good at erecting any kind of structure on hilly areas, precariously sitting there. I recall the narrow wedgy buildings squeezed in here and there, and the trams.
I was there in 2007, doing my non-Santiago, Chile trip. Wasn't much impressed with its neighbor Vina Del Mar.
