This thread rules. If there's one thing I learned here is that Canadian cities are much better at building beautiful but smaller scale buildings than they are at building exciting new skyscrapers.
Those Montreal ones are pretty kick-ass, especially compared to most of the new skyscrapers that have gone up in the past 5-10 years. I don't know what to think of that Maison symphonique though. Why the double-facade? Why couldn't they have just kept the St-urbain facade all glass? Why the lack of visual harmony? The concrete/stone facade looks useless, and pretentiously ugly. I still like though.
