I love this thread, the growth in these pictures parallel the start of my family in the States. My parents immigrated in 1959 and my dad took my mom to 1 Prudential, the tallest at that time, and there was no high rise development east of it. When my parents eventually moved to KC in 1974, my how the landscape had changed. Then 26 years later, I moved to town and got to have a wonderful experience of my parents giving me a guided tour of this kick-ass city along with their amazing stories. Now after 10 years, I get to share the reverse experience with my parents as the city has once again transformed.
