Well put. Architecture is both the master concealer and the master revealer. Sometimes you have to dig deeper.
I'm probably among the few people who chose to spend one of my college spring breaks in Johnstown. I found it thoroughly enjoyable, but I wouldn't assume to understand it, nor any other history of such gain and loss, based solely on the appearance of its historical structures. That said, great job with the photos.
