NVCommercial to buy Fairfax Co. land for $1.6M

"NVCommercial has struck a deal to buy a key property for its mixed-use development by the planned Tysons Central 7 mixed-use community for nearly $1.7 million, or $290 per square foot, though it will have to wait a while to put it to good use.

The authority plans to use the larger property as a staging area for the new Metro station’s North Entry Pavilion, which is slated for completion by the end of 2013. It will then break off a nearly 13,000-square-foot slice of the property for sale to NVCommercial..."
