This is one of those few designs that is so good that it could stand to be built in one or two more locations, perhaps with some height variation so its not exactly the same. Its certainly been done before and with FAR lesser designs.
I honestly think the original 1155' version (pre-1250') would be perfect in Denver, both in terms of height and complementing/suggesting the Rocky mountains. Do it!
