Carlisle, the Great Border City...
Here are my pics from the last few weeks that I've been working in Carlisle in Northern England. I've grown rather fond of it already, and for a population of 77,000 it feels a lot bigger than it is.

Lets have a look in the market.
Carlisle seems to have lots of nice little courtyards with shops and cafe's off the main bits which are fun to explore.
Some parts feel very Scottish, which makes sense as its only 10 minutes to the border.
An Eastern European food market with a Skoda parked outside, very appropiate I thought.
Easter weekend at the Castle
