I was thinking the other day that some places on the mitten, like the thumb, in Michigan are probably cheaper than they should be.
Other waterfront places that are probably cheap, without knowing what some of these places look like, are Beaumont, TX; Louisiana west of New Orleans; Florida's west coast north of Tampa; Lake Ontario east of Rochester; Virginia's Easter Shore (Delmarva Peninsula); and a couple other places.
