There was an article in the Sun Herald today, I did not copy it because of the length, that discusses a bill proposed by Michael Janus to clarify the mean high water line. I am paraphrasing here, but St. Pe said that the bill was generic and “It does not and will not alter the authority of the Gaming Commission to make a determination about the legality of a gaming site.” How is this possible if they deem the water line the seawall and not the water's edge? Obviously the gaming industry is political, but he obviously has an agenda.
