Affirm to open Pittsburgh office


San Francisco-based Affirm, which creates financial product and service alternatives to traditional credit, has plans to put the company’s second office in Pittsburgh, according to a news release.

Affirm chose Pittsburgh primarily for its available tech talent, said the release.

The company intends to create 100 jobs by the end of 2019 and anticipates its Pittsburgh workforce to grow to about 500 people in the next few yeasr.
