Province to announce winner of Royal Alberta Museum design competition
Four teams bidding on project will learn Wednesday which one is successful

EDMONTON - The provincial government will announce the winner of the design-build competition for the new Royal Alberta Museum on Wednesday afternoon, provincial communications staff said Tuesday.
The Journal will livestream the decision Wednesday at 3 p.m. on edmontonjournal.com.
Four local contractor-architecture teams bid on the project. The new museum will be located north of City Hall, where the old post office building is now. It will replace the museum that’s currently at 102nd Avenue and 128th Street.
