Although it was hard to tell from the renderings, I was thinking these would be closer to 200 feet. Still, at 179 feet, that will make them the tallest outside of downtown, the south shore area, West Campus and UT. Still essentially part of the same skyline as those areas, though, they'll be the tallest east of the interstate by a pretty good bit.
And YES, I love the trees on the podium. Placing trees on podiums like that is a nice away of lessening the visual impact of a neighboring highrise.
