Citadel Hotel Project Update

UPDATE: A Final Site Plan Approval was issued by the Halifax Regional Municipality (HRM) on March 9th, 2012, permitting the construction of: two 13 storey hotels and an 18 storey residential building with associated retail and auxiliary uses, on the former Citadel Hotel site.
On May 11th, a revised site plan was submitted to HRM to add two storeys to each of the hotels, bringing both up to 15 storeys, and the total hotel rooms to 316. All other aspects of the application, including the 18 storey residential building, siting, setbacks and other uses, remain the same. An Open House will be held May 29, 7 PM – 9 PM at the Museum of Natural History for those interested to learn more.
