Chinatown library looks to escape bind
New library building close to moving forward at Archer and Wentworth

That is absolutely fan-F-ing-tastic. A while ago See Wong proposed to build a 5-6 story hotel with retail there, but then the city came along with a plan to condemn the property for a library, and we on this forum speculated that they would probably just build a boring old one story library with surface parking. Instead, it seems See Wong stuck it out and came up with what seems like a great mixed use project to incorporate the library. As I recall, this will be the first recently built library to go as a tenant in a mixed use building?

This seems like the perfect project with an awesome design for this very prominent Chinatown corner that is literally right next door to the new Archer Ave auxiliary L entrance.
