and hines is an established and proven developer; they aren't some fly-by-night operation whom no one will take a risk on, they're a known quantity to the finance world. the fact that
they can't even get money for a 60% pre-leased tower really does spell some bad news for commerical office development in chicago. perhaps 20-story fifield crap-boxes are the wave of the future.
