This is a predictable response to where Brandywine sees the market today. Remember that the previous avant garde design was made possible by the fact that the building contained a large residential component, with 250,000 s.f. of office somewhere in those stacked sections. If 250,000 s.f. is what you deem the office demand to be, there's only so tall a building of that square footage can be. Take out the residential due to softening absorption (as PMC did when it redesigned 2400 Market) and all of a sudden you're considering a building that isn't likely to exceed 12-15 stories.
