Actually until recently, the tallest "structure" in the city was Sutro Tower.

I also think that there will be one more X-ring before it tops out.

Again, I really wonder if there will be some kind of window-washing apparatus hidden in the very top of the crown like the ones on 399 Fremont and/or the Lumina Towers. Those hundreds of windows are not going to magically wash themselves. --maybe some day by drone ;-)

I notice that John King is posting pictures from inside the crown. Since the skyline will be dominated by 415 Mission, I really hope the owners reconsider the appeal of an observation deck in the crown. I think that the area above the core will be pretty fantastic from both the views inside and out.
