The explosive growth happening in Kyle is under the radar because the population hasn't hit the 50K mark yet that the Census Bureau uses as a threshold to list the fastest growing cities. But the city of Kyle is planning for a population of 100K within 20 years. There are currently 21 subdivisions U/C or planned in Kyle with a total of 47K home sites. That's f'ing amazing for a city the size of Kyle. Three of the 21 subdivisions are each planning for 8-10K new homes! Apartment building is strong as well.
I'm happy about this. Now people considering moving to Round Rock have somewhere else to go.
