Hate to get OT, but I think it's interesting you mentioned that, considering I thought about this the other day. There's a tallish 1920's brick apartment building at Division and LaSalle (the one with the big mural). I always thought it would have been cool had all of LaSalle been lined with those buildings, creating a nice brick canyon.
