Even though the Brown Line will probably never happen due to opposition from Scottsdale, if it were to happen I would think it would have a lot of support from mall traffic for those who want to go between Scottsdale Fashion Square and Chandler Fashion Center. The same would be true with the Pink Line (Chandler Fashion Center, SanTan Village, and Superstition Springs Center), as well as the Purple Line (Arizona Mills and Superstition Springs Center).
