MALMÖ – Västra Hamnen, Triangeln and COPENHAGEN skyline 2017

Västra Hamnen (West Harbour) is the new harbour area in Malmö. It is famous for Turning Torso, the 57-storey twisted mixed use (residential/office) skyscraper that is Scandinavia’s tallest building since 2005, at a height of 190m. It is designed by the famous Spanish architect Santiago Calatrava. From Västra Hamnen you can see Öresundsbron, the tall and large bridge that connect Sweden and Denmark, and Copenhagen’s impressive new, growing skyline.

Öresundsbron. Denmark is to the right in this photo. The bridge connects with a tunnel before reaching land.
