Description: Merrick Architecture and Borowski Sakumoto Fligg Limited have applied to the City of Vancouver to rezone 1265-1281 Howe Street and 803-821 Drake Street from DD (Downtown District) to CD-1 (Comprehensive Development) District. The purpose of the rezoning is to permit the re-development of this site with a mixed-use, 9.58 floor space ratio (FSR) tower and podium, consisting of 258,205 sq. ft. (23 988 m2) in project floor area, 348 dwelling units, 17 artist studios and 4,225 sq. ft. of retail uses. The proposed building would be 375 ft. in height, and would contain 321 parking stalls.
