Chattanooga Needs A Regional Rail

I thought I'd post this commentary I noticed on the Chattanoogan's site. I don't know any of the folks that took time to write, but I think some excellent points were made.

I'm just catching up on some regional news and was checking out the thread and saw this link- one comment in the link is that rail isn't viable - that Amtrak and subways usually run at loss and need subsidy. I wish someone would tell that person something else that "runs" at a loss... roads.
Roads are subsidized and if all made to have tolls, I bet they wouldn't like to see that reality daily...
