^^^ Agreed, I see the whole white thing as also tangent to the rebirth of all of Milwaukee's "cream city" brick as we uncover the brick that caused the name "cream city" out from under years of grime and soot. The whole city has really gone up a few shades on the brightness scale will all the new white structures, cleaned up old cream city brick, and cleaned up city hall. I'm all for a continuation of the tradition of Milwaukee being "Cream City".

Also, this just seems to be more evidence that the boom hasn't really stopped in Milwaukee. The downtown just seems to have so much momentum that projects keep starting despite the recession. Hopefully this bodes well for an uber-boom during the imminent upswing in the economy.
