No I don't think the pathways changing is interesting, it's just concrete and some brick. I would much rather have the Riverwalk system all the way through the core area on the south bank.
I'm also not too sure what kind of "history" we are preserving, it's just concrete slabs, not like we are talking old Roman roads here.
