walker brothers pancake house, the bahai temple, wilmette harbor, and gilson beach are all located just north of evanston in neighboring wilmette. and all were part of the stomping grounds of my childhood growing up there.

So my title is technically still accurate then! Ha! I figured, geographically, more people probably would know the general Evanston area over a smaller suburb. Not a big deal though. Wilmette and Surrounding Suburbs works for me too
