That one with pathetic road connectivity is IT-SEZ, Mudipu. IT Park is not yet constructed by the state government. It was supposed to be in Blueberry Hills. As part of smart city it is planned near Bondel. Mangaluru needs Innovation Center (Startup Village) also.
Mangaluru is not in first list of 20 Smart Cities. Most of cities announced are along proposed Industrial Corridors. All other smart cities proposed in Karnataka are along Mumbai-Bengaluru Industrial Corridor or closer to it. So I think Mangaluru will get chance in third round only. Check my post here.
