nice. i think "carolinian forest" is a canadian only thing...i guess they are just referring to what we think of as deciduous eastern woodlands...perhaps more temperate like what you find in the states instead of most of eastern canada. i don't think (from what i can tell) it has anything to do with piney forests in the us south.

what this map calls "eastern temperate forests." it does look like there is a wedge of that in that area in canada.
