Few buildings have been lowered in height after public consultation. In fact several have increased in height after the initial planning application was proposed.

Yes, there wasn't a demand for a supertall condo in this last condo boom, but as the city grows larger and more wealthy residents move into the city, that demand will inevitably increase. A few years ago there was no demand for a 5 star hotel in Toronto and now we have four of them. Things change.
