In other news, I actually did count the number of towers in this thread (over 12 floors and not combined with other towers) that are in all various forms like completed, U/C, and proposed.
The number I came up with was: +/- 324 buildings!
The reason I put +/- is because even though I tried not to, I might have accidently counted some towers twice or may have missed a project, etc.
But that's still an impressive number and definitely means Mumbai has one of the biggest booms in the world. And remember that these are only projects we know about; there are surely more out there that have yet to be discovered. |
Yes, construction is booming in Mumbai.
If the number is correct and you add Thane and Navi Mumbai projects that should shoot up to near 500.
I have stopped tracking Mumbai projects because they are just too many.
