The only problem is how close the hubs would be.
East- JFK-PHL-CVG
South- ATL-CLT
West- PHX-LV-SLC
After the merger the hub structure would probably look like this.
Major hubs- ATL, PHX, PHL
Major Focus Cities- SLC, LV, CVG
With how dominate ATL is in the south CTL would be out of the picture.
