The Victoria (South Street) Hospital Campus is in the process of being decommissioned and the first buildings slated for the wrecking ball have been chosen. I didn't know that was such a "troubled" neighbourhood. I thought things didn't start getting kinda shitty until you got into White Oaks. Still, the loss of Victoria Hospital is nothing short of tragic. And shame on you Hamilton, those stone buildings form a vibrant, human-scale retail area and you're going to replace them with Toronto wannabe condos?
