I'm skeptical of the market, but am willing to give it a chance. Unlike Phoenix they will be located in a central location in an actual hockey arena, not ill-suited basketball arena.

It may end up working, but it's still a gamble.
Las Vegas only has half the population of Phoenix.
But there is more pro sports competition in Phoenix for sure.
Las Vegas does have UNLV college sports that draw CFL-sized crowds for football and (lower rung) NHL-sized crowds for basketball.
