This former cold storage warehouse now provides 53 affordable apartments for households between 34-55% of area median income and street level commercial spaces. The Rubber Company won the Award of Excellence from the National Association of Housing and Redevelopment Officials. Rubber Company apartments range from studio (600 square feet) to three bedroom (1200 square feet) units

Artspace City Center at 230 South 500 West is a renovation of the original ZCMI warehouse built in 1905. City Center offers live/work artist townhouses, galleries, artist studios, offices and an interior garden with skylights where the train used to park in the building.

Project Description

Artspace has purchased the former Utah Barrel and Scrap at 850 S 400 West in Salt Lake City. The 3.71 acre site is two blocks from a TRAX station.
