Yea, it looks weird at first sight but you get used to it. It's been there since the 70s, people in Lyon call it le crayon (the pencil) and when people nickname a building, it's often the sign that they regard it something friendly so I ended up having respect for it. BTW, see Frankfurt's Messeturm for example, it kinda looks like a more recent taller crayon. I don't think its 70s facade would ever change because it rather fits to the salmon-colored rooves that make the city look warm and it's essential to its original aspect. In fact, it's just clearly too lonely, same problem as that of the tour Montparnasse in central Paris.

I'd rather be concerned about those long bars nearby Incity...
