The latest news from Globest.com Georgelas has found a buyer for the first phase of Spring Hill Station which is a 404 unit high rise along route 7.

“If all goes well, they should be digging dirt out of the ground on it by the end of the year.”

This is very ambitious, but exciting. I know the FFX county review process they are pushing it if they think they can go from Zoning approval to Site Plan approval that quickly, but its possible if they had been sitting on the plans for 4 years waiting for the opprotunity. Submission to review comments is typically 60 days, and most plans take 2 or 3 reviews so based on if they submitted it today, assume about 180 days even for a fast track project would put it at Spring of 2012 for ground breaking. Sometimes FFX will allow for early grading plans though, which is much more fast tracked and allows a quicker initial review process. Either way this is great news that Georgelas found a buyer so quickly and a sign that if the plans are approved there will be more than enough interest to get the balls rolling!
