Matthew has been doing his research on this so I'll save a full post for his weekly update...
This is a really large project thats a bit shocking for downtown, even though similar sized projects are under construction in the Innovation Quarter.
300 sq. ft. of office? Brand must be in talks with a tenant. A grocer seems logical, as does the residential portion.
They're GUARANTEEING construction. Thats why they were chosen out of three proposals.
According to Fox8, The Royal Inn site would be a later phase for the project. We could be closer to the construction side than the proposal side since both the Royal Inn and a neighboring gas station are closed, fenced up and ready for demolition.
