I thought the same thing. I started one on that lot a while back, only instead of retail at the bottom of Houston side I put in a new Texas Theater . I placed a parking garage on the Travis side, with apartments above. I was a little uninspired by it, so I left it and started something else. I'll play with it again; I'm sure retail can fit in there, maybe a cool bar. Thanks.  |
Entrance to the garage on Main St. side, retail on both Houston and Travis side (we can't have another Embassy Suites wall-along-Travis disaster,) parking underground or on 2+ floors and limited, there's plenty of on-street around.
