The contentious Sharp Park golf course… The wetlands adjacent to the park are home to endangered California red-legged frogs and San Francisco garter snakes, and environmental groups have been trying to close the park for some time now. The issues are complicated by the fact that the park itself is actually owned by the City and County of San Francisco, despite being well outside city limits.



These are the wetlands in question.
Sweeney Ridge is in the background… San Bruno and Millbrae are on the other side of the mountain.
