An excessive additionally guyed tower

On the Pohorje Mountain west of Maribor in Slovenia, there is a 72 metre radio tower built of lattice steel. This tower, situated in a forest, is designed as free-standing, but nevertheless guyed in two levels in more than three directions!

In my opinion this guying is too excessive, as this tower is low and surrounded by forests protecting its lower parts by strong parts. But I believe the engineers who designed this tower and its owner would have good reasons for this excessive guying.

What is your opinion about this tower?
