Driving video: Halifax is a peninsula, and the Macdonald Bridge was the first suspension bridge linking it to Dartmouth. Also covers Barrington Street and Spring Garden Road (two main streets).

Mackay Bridge at night (slow video but still neat). The other bridge has a reversible lane to work with rush hour demand, but the Mackay is busy in both directions: downtown Halifax employees return home to Dartmouth, while those who work in the Burnside Industrial Park (in Dartmouth) head home to Halifax or Clayton Park.
