NOBU:
The $350 million plan also pitches a new outdoor dining concept on the Harrah’s site overlooking Poydras Street.
Harrah’s is also seeking approval for improvements to Fulton Street, which runs next to its existing hotel. Planned upgrades include a clear roof structure to be built over the street, allowing for year-round use.
The Masquerade, the main nightclub in Harrah’s, will be getting upgrades. A rendering provided to NOLA.com | The Times-Picayune shows plans for new lighting and screens.
Harrah’s improvement plan calls for extensive interior upgrades, including new light and sound fixtures.
The new 24-story Harrah’s hotel would include a rooftop pool and bar, a gym and spa, and 20,000 square feet of meeting space.
Harrah’s is also planning upgrades to its food services at the casino. The $350 million plan includes a “Taste of New Orleans”-themed food hall, which would feature stalls from prominent local eateries.
Harrah’s also wants to build a new, “boutique nightclub” at its New Orleans casino, one among an array of non-gaming improvements and expansions the company is pitching.
also there are some other things we know of not included rendering wise like the new Filmore theatre but that will technically have its own entrance and be seperate from the casino and we know Gordon Ramsay and Wahlbergers are doing restaurants in NOLA and considering their existing relationships with Caesars/Harrahs its likely they will be part of this as well
think its a great idea!
