I can see what you mean, but with the curve on he north side it will be very prominent when arriving downtown from the DVP and GO on the East and the Gardiner rom the west. A view which is almost certainly going to be seen by more people than the islands's view.

I've been trying to picture how the curve will work with the lean of Ritz-Carlton when viewed from the west. I appreciate they're opposite sides of Front St and a fair few blocks between them, but think these two could work together when viewed from the appropriate angle.
