There's some encouraging comments though... just look at a couple of the replies to JMT's comment (posted at 7:33 AM). Some linden woods/whyte ridge folks compared the transitway trip favourably to driving:

It takes me 30 minutes in the morning and 45 minutes in the evening by car from P&M to Whyte Ridge (the 4:30 rush hour is way slower).

Right now a bus takes about 40 and nearly an hour.

This will cut it to about 25 and 35, which is faster than by car, and less expensive. Should these times actually hold up, it will be cheaper, and faster by bus.

I agree with KMC - I drive every day from Linden Woods to Winnipeg Square (and home again). Door to door by bus, it's about 40 minutes on the bus. The longest part of the bus route is going through Osborne Village. That takes about 15-20 minutes of the trip. By utilizing the rapid transit corridor, you could in theory shave most of that time off. That would bring a 40 minute bus ride down to say 25 minutes even during the peak of rush hour. Pretty good deal if you ask me!
