People seem to be quite confused; air rights are for the amount of space to be developed, not the building's height. This building has 1.3 million square feet of air rights; they could build a 2,000' tall tower if they wanted, but that wouldn't make economical sense. Given that this project and One57 are both owned by Extell and 225 will have 30% more space than One57, I certainly think it's
possible something as tall as 432 Park could rise here, although something closer to the ESB's height is more likely.
