The Macmillan Petroleum Company had a service station at 9601 Wilshire Boulevard in the 1942 CD (that's the corner of N Camden Drive). This is an aerial view from 1947. The gas station is roughly central above Wilshire.

That means we're probably looking from the roof of Saks Fifth Avenue at 9600 Wilshire Boulevard (in the lower left corner of the aerial above). Would this be part of the Perino's restaurant that

post #63008?
